Have got the artillery section of Scheither's Frei Korps done.
I decided to use the other gun casting from Prince August , with which the barrel and body are cast as one . Peraphs not as nice a model as the newer one but adds a bit of variety.
Very imposing fellows - I particularly like the semi-round chaps against the painted background. Looks like something from the Adventures of Baron Munchausen.

ReplyDeleteThe Frei Korps also had a unit of Grenadiers, but these had a bearskin type hat so I'm thinking on how to do these.
