After a burst of casting - been melting down all those odd figures I have laying about , I have cast up enough figures for the first company of my British Regiment .
It comprises of 12 Sentinels , Sergeant, Drummer and Officer .
This is under strength for the original 'Charge' rules which has 21 figures in a company , but my wider basing makes up the ground space . I am thinking of 3 companies to the Battalion , I'm not sure how Grenadiers will fit in yet .
Those are really nice looking figures sir! Great work.
ReplyDeleteWhat stalwart fellows! You've managed a superb finish on them. Red Coats to be proud of.
ReplyDeleteNice work, looking great.
ReplyDeleteFor my 40mm infantry I use a 2x3cm base and have ~30 figs to the battalion - mainly due to my smaller gaming table and the desire to have a reasonable number of units on the table.

Hi
ReplyDeleteExcellent start -
Like Allan I use 2x3cm bases.
My units are based on Charge but with 2 companies and 40 figures and 1 mounted CO to a battalion. For the War Game I add the standard bearers, drummers and NCOs to the rank and file to bring the units up to 36.
Let me know if you need a mounted officer type for your CO.
Cheers
